O’ Callaghan’s Mills GAA Club

We chose BBnet as our internet provider in 2021 as we did not have access to fibre broadband at the time and we knew some of members were using BBnet in the
locality and recommended BBnet’s service. Since it’s installation we have been using the service on a daily basis at our facilities. The GAA Club is at the centre of our rural community. At the GAA club, many community groups use our facilities. As well as
Gaelic Games, we have a gym, a hall, meeting rooms and a handball court. The hall is used for Irish dancing classes, summer camps, age action exercise classes and group gatherings. Our meeting room is used by the GAA, handball, Tidy Towns and the 12 O’
Clock Hills Group. All using our facilities now have access to excellent high speed broadband. This year, during our 100 year anniversary celebrations we hosted the Clare Cup Final at our grounds. For this Clare GAA TV required broadband of high
quality and sufficient upload speed to live stream the game. We were delighted that BBnet’s service could provide this and the Final which we won, was streamed live to our supporters to enjoy, from Kilkishen to Korea!

East Clare Fitness also run personal training and group sessions from our gym and again BBnet broadband facilitates this, from using Wi-Fi for online booking or simply
for listening to music in the gym. The handball club are hosting the National Handball Championships in the alley and again, BBnet Wi-Fi for reporting on finals and
connecting with handball clubs all over the country over the weekend. All in all, O’Callaghan’s Mills GAA is very grateful to BBnet for their continued support and helping us to connect with our community. We would hope we can continue our relationship for a long time to come.
