Located in Adare, Limerick, Woodlands House Hotel & Spa is a well-known destination for leisure guests, families, and large-scale corporate events. With growing guest expectations and increasing reliance on digital services, the hotel needed a reliable and future-ready connectivity solution.
BBnet was brought in to resolve persistent WiFi issues and redesign the entire network infrastructure, ensuring the hotel could confidently support guests, operations, and major events.
The Challenge: Connectivity That Could Match Guest Expectations
The Woodlands team wanted to address ongoing WiFi and connectivity problems that were impacting both staff operations and the guest experience. Managing multiple suppliers had also become complicated and inefficient.
The objectives were clear:
Identify and resolve persistent WiFi and connectivity issues.
Appoint a single trusted provider responsible for the full network and WiFi infrastructure.
Simplify support by eliminating the need to manage multiple vendors.
Deliver a robust connectivity solution capable of supporting high-capacity events, including a large marquee event for a local multinational client.

BBnet designed and implemented a fully managed connectivity and WiFi 7 solution, delivering simplicity, reliability, and full accountability under one provider.
WiFi 7 Deployment
Installed a complete WiFi 7 system across the hotel, making The Woodlands the first hotel in Limerick with full WiFi 7 deployment.
Redesigned the WiFi network layout with new coverage zones to ensure strong and consistent connectivity throughout the entire property.
Completed a full cabling overhaul to support the new infrastructure and ensure long-term reliability.
Connectivity
Delivered dual internet connectivity using Fibre DIA with Wireless Failover, built on BBnet’s resilient network infrastructure.
Worked alongside Paul O’Connor (IT Coordinator, ONS) to configure a dual connection setup where each connection operates independently.
Implemented wireless connectivity immediately, ensuring uninterrupted service while the fibre installation was being completed.
