Building the Backbone of BBnet
Steve’s journey into networking stared in the Merchant Navy, where he picked up a deep knowledge of RF technology. That experience became the foundation for what would eventually become BBnet. With over 20 years in networking, wireless, and infrastructure design, Steve played a key role in creating some of Ireland’s earliest rural broadband networks.
Quietly Making Everything Work
From designing our systems to making sure our installations and technical operations run like clockwork, Steve helps keep BBnet reliable, secure, and always improving. He leads the operational and engineering teams, keeping things smart, stable and scalable.
