International Rugby Experience
The International Rugby Experience is based in the heart of Limerick City. It is a fully interactive experience celebrating the game of rugby and everything it stands for.
The requirements of the International Rugby Experience were for a dedicated internet connection along with a backup connection. The original requirements for Wi-Fi were to provide good quality Wi-Fi to deal with a large capacity of users but this expanded into providing Wi-Fi throughout the entire building for display stands etc.
Setting up the International Rugby Experience in Limerick City presented several challenges from an IT and connectivity perspective. This is a new build with some challenging and complex requirements.BBnet successfully delivered the connectivity, by providing dual paths of connectivity via two different fibre networks. The International Rugby Experience now has a dedicated 1G connection with a backup connection ensuring they always stay online.
BBnet designed, implemented, and support the Wi-Fi network throughout the building. This was achieved by implementing a Hewlett Packard Enterprises Aruba Wi-Fi solution integrated with Hewlett Packard Enterprises Aruba Central for 24/7 monitoring and with AI driven insights into network performance.
The International Rugby Experience is a highly interactive, multimedia experience. High quality internet connectivity and Wi-Fi coverage is essential to the running of day-to-day operations including interactive displays, point of sale terminal and a robust customer Wi-Fi experience.Mark Farrell (Business Solutions Consultant) and Colin Ahern (Managed Services Lead) from BBnet worked closely with the client to ensure all requirements were met and this project was completed on time
