Who are BBNet ?

BBnet is a leading provider of wireless broadband services in Ireland’s Mid & South West Region. Founded in 2005, BBNet’s reliable broadband service is used by residential, small business and corporate customers. BBnet specialises in providing cost competitive broadband to rural areas.

Based in Adare, Co Limerick and with an office in Smithstown, Shannon, Co Clare, BBnet uses a combination of fibre backhaul, licensed radio links and license exempt spectrum to deliver our high quality broadband services to our growing customer base. BBnet has over 40 transmitters located across 4 counties through which we deliver our service.

  BBnet is the first company to deliver reliable broadband to large parts of West Limerick, South & East Clare, and North Cork.
  BBnet is continously upgrading our network to ensure that fast and reliable broadband is available to our customers.

• Download Increase

  In September 2010, BBnet commenced rollout of our next generation network through which we can offer speeds of up to 10Mb download and 8Mb upload. Our next generation service is already available in parts of counties Clare, Limerick & Kerry.

  BBnet is registered with Comreg and Ireland’s Data Protection Commissioner.
  BBnet Broadband is a member of INEX. (Logo) and we have our own AS Number with RIPE.
